Hi! I’m Reed

PICTURE OF ME, REED YOUR LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST

I am a Graduate of Indiana Wellness College (formerly known as Indiana Massage College) with an Academic Honor Diploma in Sport and Medical Massage. I am a member of and insured by the AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association). I am licensed by the State of Indiana as a Massage Therapist (#MT21906814).

I've been a Massage Therapist for going on 6 years and I truly love the difference it has made in my life and how it allows me to help others feel better in their own skin!

My clients often ask what modality type I like the most and truly it's a mix of everything. I probably excel the most doing deep work with a sports blend (stretching). I often get lost in a deep tissue/sports session and I mean that in the best way. The challenge keeps me SO focused and I love that feeling of time flying by! I pride myself on trying to be a good listener and offering sound advice. I also pride myself on creating an inclusive, kind and welcoming environment. I don't push sales or "upgrades" (unless it's truly something I think will REALLY enhance your wellness). Sales are not my goal, living a balance life myself and helping others do the same is the REAL goal.

My partner Chris, our senior cat Winky and myself moved to the Holy Cross Neighborhood in Downtown Indianapolis in the Spring of 2022. We previously lived in Eagle Creek. We’ve been busy with LOTS of projects on our 1879 Folk Victorian home and have just undergone a new roof and siding transformation! Ask me what projects I’ve been up to and I usually have ridiculous stories of how I’ve hurt myself! 😁 Chris often finds me getting into messes around the house as I try and "fix" or "tinker" as we now call it. Weird how things can just fall apart in my hands… but they do a wonderful job at massaging or so I’ve heard. I love to cook and try new recipes and techniques, watch movies, listen to audio books, go to live theater and listen to and discover new music.

Thanks for following along and allowing me to do what I do!

Reed

Reed is great. The location is very nice, relaxing, and clean. First massage, Reed made sure to go over everything with me beforehand. Massage was excellent and so relaxing. Also no upselling, which is so nice. Definitely going again, and recommend to anyone looking for a great massage, professionalism, and value.

Wow! I’ve been having so many issues recently, it felt like my body was just falling apart. Numb hands when sleeping, constant lower back pain, sprained neck, hip pain ... the list goes on. The night after my session with Reed, I felt like a whole new person. No numbness, no hip pain, very minimal back pain. Reed was super friendly and professional, had a really relaxing setup, and was able to recommend stretches and suggestions to help prolong my relief. I’ll definitely be going back! Thanks, Reed!

Reed is welcoming and takes wonderful notes from past sessions to continue to build his options for a personal massage that meets your needs. He is considerate and provides an experience that works out tension, muscles, and stress from your body. I will keep returning.

I had a therapeutic massage by Reed yesterday. He worked on the areas that I am having the most issues with. I felt so much better afterwards! Since I felt so good, I went ahead and booked my next session with him! I’m really looking forward to it!

I’ve gotten a massage from Reed a couple of times now and it’s always amazing. My favorite thing about the experience is that he goes out of his way to tailor it to my needs/wants. I choose everything from the aromas used and music played (small, but important details) to the type of massage and areas of focus! The intake form even has options for how chatty I want to be, which is a subtle, but nice touch. Would highly recommend him to anyone who need a massage. And also be sure to try the IR sauna!

My very first appointment with Reed was my very first experience with a massage therapist. He is very friendly and professional and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire appointment. He explained what he was doing as he was doing it and found some spots I didn’t even know needed attention. He gave me some stretches to do at home to help with problem areas and I left feeling so much better than I did when I walked in. I’ve already scheduled my next appointment. Highly recommend!

**Update** It’s been almost a year and I’ve been going to see Reed once every month since for an hour and it’s had such a positive impact on my general well-being and physical comfort. It’s a huge improvement from a year ago when I first walked in the door. I cannot say enough about the wonderful service he provides.

I went to Reed during marathon training to help loosen up overused muscles due to excessive running and cross training. Within the time spent he helped alleviate the stiffness and tightness allowing me to enhance my training performance.
